Beer Summit, Anyone?

As I sit here, it has not yet been determined what actually took place in Sanford, Florida, and whether George Zimmerman will be arrested and tried for shooting Trayvon Martin. Except for Mr. Zimmerman and his friends and family, that will be of little concern. What really matters is that America’s leading racists, Barack Obama, Al Sharpton, Jesse Jackson and the Black Panthers, have all had the opportunity to showboat and to show their true colors.

For good measure, as radio talk show host Dennis Prager pointed out, for the first time in its history, the New York Times identified someone, in this case Zimmerman, as “a white Hispanic.” After all, it wouldn’t be front page news if a Hispanic had shot a black or vice versa, or, as is more typical, a black had killed a white. Only by emphasizing that Zimmerman’s father was white, while ignoring the fact that his mother was Peruvian, could the Times turn this unfortunate incident into the only kind of hate crime they really care about, one in which a white man can be portrayed as evil incarnate.

Barack Obama, just as he did when there was the incident in Cambridge, Massachusetts a few years ago, immediately jumped to a racially-based conclusion. Just as Professor Henry Gates had to be right and Sgt. James Crowley and the entire Cambridge Police Department had to be wrong before anyone actually knew the facts of the matter, we had Obama solemnly intoning, “If I had a son, he would look like Trayvon Martin.” Well, I suppose he would unless, Mother Nature being the naughty pixy she sometimes is, he came out looking like your Caucasian mother.

Just in terms of public relations, wouldn’t it have been a good idea for Obama to have spoken a few well-chosen words after the 13-year-old white kid, Allen Coon, in Kansas City, was recently doused in gasoline and set on fire while the two black teenagers hollered, “You get what you deserve, white boy!”?

Isn‘t it odd that neither Sharpton nor Jackson thought it was worth their time to fly off to Kansas City and admonish the black community to shape up, and to urge the KCPD to arrest those young sadists and send them away for a long stretch? Instead, we had Al Sharpton leading a demonstration, during which he said, and I quote, “Don’t talk to us like we stupid. Don’t talk to us like we ignit.” He garnered loud cheers from a crowd of black Floridians, who clearly speak his language, even if nobody else does. He went on to say, “We love our children like you love yours.” Well, not exactly, Reverend Al. Not when three out of four black babies are born to unmarried women.

In a related matter, people seem to be in a big rush to try, convict and execute, Sgt. Robert Bales for murdering 17 Afghans, while in the meantime, Major Hasan, who massacred 13 Americans at Fort Hood in 2009, continues to await trial nearly three years after his bloody rampage, committed in the name of Allah.

In this country, it would appear, a hate crime is simply one for which a white heterosexual is responsible, never one in which he or she is the victim.

Speaking of the racist-in-chief, Barack Obama, when he’s not chastising white policemen, actually has the gall to travel around the country to promote his energy policy. Like Sharpton, who only addresses the choir, Obama makes certain that when he describes his policy as “all of the above,” nobody in his throng ever asks him why, in that case, he has declared war on the coal industry and shut down drilling for oil both offshore and on federal land.

Why does he lower the hammer on the Keystone pipeline and its 20,000 jobs, while at the same time throwing billions of our tax dollars at green energy, an industry responsible for a mere 2.4% of the jobs in America? And why does he keep insisting that we only have 22 billion barrels of oil in reserve when the government’s own geological experts put the figure at one trillion barrels? I mean, it’s one thing to employ guesswork when it comes to handicapping a basketball tournament, but quite another matter when you use a crystal ball when estimating oil reserves and miss by 978,000,000,000 barrels!

Finally, a while back, when asked to give himself an overall grade, Obama, while trying to look modest, gave himself a B+. Recently, when asked to do the same, Secretary of Energy Steven Chu gave himself an A-.

What I want to know is where were these easy graders when I was in school?

Drew: I have no doubt that his upbringing helped make Obama what he is today, but that’s no excuse.  Brought up as I was in a Russian-Jewish home that was convinced that FDR was a saint, if I could wind up a Republican, anything is possible.

  • Drew Page

Burt, we know how Mr. Obama reacts when there is an allegation of wrong doing perpetrated by whites on blacks.   If there is any doubt as to what his motivations are for feeling this way,  they can be clearly seen in his two books, Dreams From My Father and the Audacity of Hope.   People don’t have to buy the books, they can check them out of the library.    His distaste for white people, white society, capitalism and America in general can be clearly seen repeatedly.  He wrote that “If the politcal winds change, I will stand with the Muslims.”   He was no teenager when he wrote this, but undoubtedly was influenced by the treatment he received during his formative years by other white kids, being the black son of a white mother and white maternal grandparents..

Thank you, Jeckyll.  I’m not sure if the truth will make us free, but it’s the only thing worth writing.  Otherwise, it’s just typing.

genann59: I agree that Chu is a bundle of laughs.  In fact, I think I’ll actually miss him and Joe Biden after Obama loses the election.  There’s been many a time when the only laugh I’ve gotten over these past few years has been on a day when one of them has said something absolutely hilarious.

  • genann59

What I found most amusing of Chu was in his testimony to Congress, where he said he was not responsible for the current gas prices, and then, with a straight face, said he had done all he could to control gas prices. Even some of the people listening to him couldn’t help laugh out loud. Yeah, he has done all he can to control gas prices – he has refused to allow anything that might lower gas prices, with, as you mentioned in your article, refusing drilling permits and the pipeline.
Even though anyone with half a mind has to know that every scientist with any brains at all is doing his or her best to come up with a viable alternative fuel source, since they know the first to come up with one is financially set for life, the left, to include this administration, seem to think that once gas prices get to a certain level, the invention, which someone is hiding from the world at this time, will magically appear out of nowhere. (Ref your article about Liberals being stupid). It there was a viable alternative, believe me it would already be out there.
Either that or they think that once gas gets high enough everyone will go out and buy the Volt or another electric car, not realizing, of course, that everyday people know the Volt is 1) life threatening to own or drive and 2) it is more expensive, even with the government rebate, than the mass majority of people can afford.
What will happen if they make gas too expensive is that more and more people will no longer be able to commute to work, and those lower income people in the service jobs will have to try to find other jobs closer to where they live. Meaning more people will end up unemployed, on welfare, and as Obama and his friends like, dependent on the government handouts in order to survive. And they will still somehow manage to blame Bush for that.

Its so refreshing to read the truth, it makes me sick the way people are afraid to tell it like it is. Im a proud 45 yr. old white straight male…every liberals worst nightmare! United We stand diveded we fall…

  • BurtPrelutsky

Charles: I wondered what happened to the little nipper.

  • BurtPrelutsky

cma:  I also don’t recall a president commenting on a pending criminal case.  But I also can’t recall, going back to George Washington, a president who’s been a bigger menace to America or the world.  During my lifetime, only Jimmy Carter even comes close.

    DOOM161: I agree.

    • Charles Brister

A reporter asked the President about racism and Trayon Martin.
The reporter looked like he could be your son.

  • DOOM161

If Obama gets a B+, and as much as I dislike Bush, he gets an A with 10 pluses.

  • cmacrider

Burt:  I cannot, (going back to Eisenhower) ever recall a President of the United States commenting on a criminal cases when it was in the hands of the police and justice departments for investigation.  Am I wrong on this??????

  • BurtPrelutsky

Jeff Metz: Until blacks want to have an honest discussion, as opposed to venting about how awful white people are, there will never be honest communication between the races.  But in order to be honest, blacks would have to admit that they’ve been irresponsible.  I don’t see many blacks willing to blame anyone but whites for their illegitimate birth rate, the fact that their kids generally drop out of high school and that black-on-black and black-on-white crime far exceeds white-on-black crime.  But inasmuch as whites are equally unwilling to speak the truth about black Americans, they really have nothing to talk about.  They condemn us and we cower with guilt.

  • Jeff Metz

I actually thought of the “Beer Summit” when the President first weighed in on this.  Obama has largely squandered the opportunity to encourage an honest and open debate on race that is sorely needed in this nation.

Charles B: I look at it the way Truman did.  I tell the truth and they call it race-baiting.  And then we have folks like poor Wil, who periodically strays out of his padded cell, leaves his meds behind, and shows up here to defend Obama.  How do I know he’s crazy?  Because he keeps showing up here to defend Obama, but never feels compelled to point out his presidential achievements.  Well, maybe he’s not so crazy, after all.

    • Charles B.

Burt is this truth or race baiting?

      “America’s leading racists, Barack Obama,..”

What  facts if  any can you present to support your claim?

Keep in mind his mother, her parents, most of the people that voted for him, and most of his cabinet happens to be of the  Caucasian persuasian.

  • Charles B.

Burt are you race baiting again. Shame on you.

  • Glen

I noticed from the very beginning that BO chooses the “facts” that best suit whatever deception he happens to be peddling.  Truth and accuracy are the least of his concerns.

  • BurtPrelutsky

I do feel at times that America should be locked up in a padded room and placed on meds until it regains its collective sanity.  Evicting Obama in November would be a step in the right direction.

    • Wil

Yeah, Everything was great, before Obama became president! Obama stepped into office with his plate full. Going into office, he had more
problems to deal with than any President since Abraham Lincoln.

      • Drew Page

OK, conceding the point that Obama inherited problems, all he has done is make a bad situation worse.   I don’t like the idea of the government punishing success and rewarding failure.  He has had three years to restore employment, the economy, reduce the debt and bring gas prices down, become energy independent and put forth a serious budget.  He has done nothing to solve these problems.  His answer is to increase taxes,  the size of government and propagate class warfare.  I have never met an American serviceman or woman who fought for socialism.  As I recall we always fought against it.

  • Roxiebell

This whole case is literally insane and listening to people trying to defend the vigilante attack on Zimmerman is enough to make your head explode and is another example of how the far left will exploit anyone or anything to advance or incite their agenda and they are the lowest life form on the planet, imo. I say to Obama “soul search”………………this!!

  • Rick Johnson

It’s interesting to me how an oppressed group become more like their oppressors when they gain equality. Witness the womens’ liberal movement. Now we have many women who behave more like the sophomoric pigs they despised. Black on White crime and Black on Black crime far exceeds the oppressor White on Black crime that the Blacks decried. Go figure.

    • Charles B.

Rick looks to me like Burt is race baiting again. Did he hook you?

White on White crime exceeds interracial crime 10 -1
Happens every day.  But U can’t get woody discussing White on White crime.
