I feel the same. People get wrapped around the axle and dysregulated emotionally, it's very silly, or the opposite takes place and they become very hateful. I turned the news off this evening, and I'm watching a Lassie movie from 1949 on TCM . Entertaining!

Totally agree. I am a huge Lee Greenwood fan and went out of my way to go to the Vietnam Veterans Memorial to hear him sing GOD BLESS THE USA on Memorial Day with many veterans in attendance. And I remember watching him on TV and singing along when he sang it at Yankee Stadium after 9/11. It is my favorite patriotic song.

Sadly, I was not surprised when the Trump Bible was added to his list of endorsements, it is who Trump is and I accept that. But I was very sorry to see Lee Greenwood join the venture, although like you I will give him the benefit of the doubt that this was a misjudgment, and not due to greed since that motive would be so out of character with how I view him.

I liked this article. It reminded me when I visited a religious university in Oklahoma. I was not a Christian at that time. It was around 1975. Included in the visit was a basketball game at the coliseum. It was a fine basketball game. Upon leaving the coliseum I saw holy spirit trinkets and such for sale. I thought it was a bit cheesey. Went up in a prayer tower that was just a commercial about the university. The non believing public will see it for what it is.
