Hi Bernie, I am glad I have once again subscribed to your site a month or so ago. I enjoy your conversations with BOR. Great job tonight(Monday) on his show. My question is we have two Presidential candidates that many people dislike, two candidates who only know how to throw verbal grenades like two cranky old men. I am 60 and I cant believe we have sunk to this level. In your opinion how do we come back from this? It won't happen this election cycle and the world is watching with many bad leaders taking advantage of our chaotic situation.
Bernie, I have been a subscriber since you started. Since summer 2023 I no longer have had access to your weekly missives, Q&A, etc. I have been trying to solve the problem to no avail. Now I have been charged as of 10/1/23 for another year. Not happy. I need help to resolve this issue or I will have to cancel via my payment method.
Hi Louis. It looks like you're a Patreon subscriber rather than a Substack subscriber, so you should still be receiving all emails/content via Patreon, and have full access to the Patreon page: https://www.patreon.com/BernardGoldberg
The website you're on right now (where you left your comment) is the Substack page, so you have only limited access to it (though the content is all the same as the Patreon page). What I can do, since you were just charged for another year via Patreon, is give you full access to THIS Substack page as well, for the next year. I just did that (using the same email address we have on file for you Patreon), so you should be all set.

I am, or at least I was, a paid subscriber but I’ve spent the better part of the last hour trying to get to articles and be able to comment. Bernie, if you have made the move to Substack instead of through Patreon, then I’ll need to do the same. Or at least have someone tell me what my subscription now gets me if it doesn’t encompass what it used to. I would appreciate it of you would have someone from your support staff contact me to get this figured so I don’t miss anything. Many thanks!
