Thanks. Yeah, I've been writing for the site for so long that I wrongly assumed that most people watching would know who I am. An intro would have been nice. I'll do one next time. BTW, my website is https://www.johndalybooks.com/.

And I also have a Substack: https://johndalybooks.substack.com/

Bernie, to be fair about the 2020 election, you need to acknowledge that Trump got 12 million MORE votes in 2020 than in 2016. And, while he may have lost some suburban women who will regret to their graves that they voted for Biden, you can't dismiss the real unfairness if not outright crimes that rigged- yes, RIGGED- the election in Biden's favor. Have you heard of the $450 million Zuckerbucks? The "2000 Mules"? See the movies, read Mollie Hemingway's book. Trump has every right to bring up the corrupt election of 2020 and as an honest broker, you should recognize it was stolen from him with the mass mail-ins, harvesting, etc etc. Check out what happened in Georgia, Arizona, & Wisconsin. You also blame Trump for the radical Jackson to the Supreme Court? You're forgetting that Romney, Collins, and Murkowski are essentially Democrats and they voted for her too. And you like Romney, and think he's honest?! You lose a lot of credibility with that one. He's a back stabbing snake who wants to be loved by the elites. Trump's attitude, strength, and policies are why we love him. AND, the "craziness" you seem to think he was responsible for while he was president is forgetting one main fact- he was attacked unfairly constantly by the corrupt press, the lying Dems, and he was spied on & smeared as a Russian agent! Had he been treated with even an ounce of respect as president, he wouldn't have had to lash out in ways that turned off people like you. In the end, he was the victim of so much unfairness that he exposed the evil & hypocrisy of the Dems, libs, & media like no other, and you of all people should appreciate that. In fact you should really take a step back, respect & even sympathize with him more. The US & world would be much better off if he- a strong leader- were in charge now. Despite your personal distaste for Trump, you should admit that it's Biden who is destroying this country and that it just might be Trump who needs to Save America & the world.

I’m going to give you some unsolicited advice here, as a fellow American. First is to let go of Donald Trump and quit obsessing over the 2020 election, which he lost fair and square. It is quite delusional to believe an election was stolen simply because Trump, a man with a well deserved reputation for dishonesty, said so. It’s amusing to see you refer to Romney as dishonest when you spend all this energy defending dishonest claims by a serial Iiar, which is who Trump is.

The 2020 election is over, and Trump lost. It’s in the past. If you care about conservatism, you wouldn’t spend all this time whining and moaning about Trump’s defeat. That kind of counterproductive attitude is not going to elect people serious enough to enact policies you might want. Facts are facts, and the past is past. Focus on the present and the future, and do what it takes to elect Republicans who are serious about legislating the policies you want, and have reasonably good moral character(contrary to what some say, character matters too!). Focus on electing good conservative candidates in the primary and general elections of this years midterms. Then in 2024, find a good Republican candidate that cares about policies, has good moral character, and doesn’t junkpost on social media and obsess over personal grievances.

So quit trying to making excuses for Trump and his dishonest, petulant, and childish behavior. And that includes repeating the lies peddled by Trump himself and his sycophants. Stop whining like a baby. Man up, get your big boy pants on, and work constructively to help revitalize the GOP and help the conservative movement once again become a vital force in our great country. The choice is yours.

I'll give you advice too- if you don't address the past or learn from history, you'll be doomed to repeat it. There is enough mischief that was done against Trump in the 2020 election that just living in denial as if nothing happened is behaving just how the Democrat criminals want. It's not my job to educate you, but u oughta see the film Rigged and 2000 Mules, and decide for yourself if it's all irrelevant crap. You should read this good article as well: https://www.breitbart.com/politics/2022/04/06/exclusive-trump-rigged-premiere-shouldnt-be-allowed-mark-zuckerberg-privately-finance-election-operations/amp/

You do sound like a never-Trumper, though, looking for an excuse to keep bashing Trump and his supporters. Did you advise Hillary and her supporters the same way? You're aware she never accepted her legitimate loss in 2016, right? She's still blaming Putin even though she planted the seed that falsely & criminally linked Trump to Putin! You probably are a fan of Liz Cheney, and Mitch McConnell, I bet. And Mitt Romney?! If that ain't looking backwards, I don't know what is! #Trump2024

There is nothing to be in denial about. What is amusing is that a serial liar like Trump makes up lies about how the election was stolen from him. And fraud and suppression happen in every election. But the numbers of demonstrable fraud(which both Republicans and Democratic voters have committed) are so miniscule, as they don't come remotely close to changing the outcome of an election.

As for looking backwards, that is funny. I mean, it is Trump that keeps whining and throwing a fit about his defeat to Biden. Almost a year and a half after the election, he is still at it! And Trump supporters keep making these farcical claims about how the former President was cheated. So I'd argue, they are the ones who keep looking back. John and Bernie aren't doing that. But because Trump and his sycophants keep bringing it up, they are going to debunk these lies as intellectually honest men.

And yes, I do like Liz Cheney, so great guess! She tells the truth, and it drives MAGA supporters crazy(to be distinguished from a Trump voter, who are often not as delusional).

Instead of repeating the talking points of the same crowd that said the NY Post story about Hunter was "disinformation" and mocked Trump when he said Obama spied on him, you should read Mollie Hemingway's well-researched book RIGGED and watch the 2 movies. If not- if you want to cover your eyes & ears to all the facts and just scream "Trump is a liar"- you are just a tool of the Left disguised as a conservative who can't handle or doesn't want to know the truth. Trump got 12 million more votes in 2020 than 2016, and won 19 of 20 historical bellwether states that predict election victories! But somehow magically the 2020 election broke all historical precedent, right? You think Zuckerberg paid $400 million bucks to Democrat entities for a few mere votes that would not have been enough to tilt the election? What were "2000 Mules" doing in the swing states shoving mysterious harvested ballots in drop boxes at 3:30am in the morning? Wake up Liz Cheney lover! You either care about the truth- whether u like Trump or not- or you are a hack and a RINO. Good luck being a tool.

I'm not surprised at these kind of responses from Trumpists, as the truth and the facts matter little to them. Since you are incapable of refuting my points, all you have left are straw man arguments and name calling. No one is talking about Hunter Biden here, as it has nothing to do with what John and Bernie talked about in their podcast. It's funny that those who accept the outcome of the election are "tool of the left", or a RINO. I bet you can't even point out any left wing policy or policies favored by "RINOs" that Bernie, John, and I support. The only logical conclusion is that Trump sycophants define conservativism as to how much one licks Trump's boots. And the other conclusion is that some of us actually value intellectual honesty and the truth, which were foreign concepts to Trump and his hard core supporters.

"Trump got 12 million more votes in 2020 than 2016, and won 19 of 20 historical bellwether states that predict election victories! But somehow magically the 2020 election broke all historical precedent, right?"

Trump did get 12 million more votes than in 2016, but Biden got 15.4 million more votes than Hillary Clinton, for a total of over 81 million votes. And no, Trump didn't win 19-20 bellweather states. Trump's behavior and subpar moral character offended a lot of voters, especially in formerly red leaning suburban areas, and many of them either voted for Biden, or voted 3rd party/write-in. The cardinal rule of politics, is that you don't want behave in a way to give anyone a reason to vote against you. And Trump motivated many people to vote against him. That is why Biden got 306 electoral votes and 81 million votes.

"You think Zuckerberg paid $400 million bucks to Democrat entities for a few mere votes that would not have been enough to tilt the election?"

Except they weren't Democratic entities. They were local election offices that got the aid, which helped them provide PPE and equipment to help them deal with counting the votes during a pandemic. And given that the aid was given in 49 states, half of them that Trump won. For your claim that they were Democrat entities, election workers are not part of a partisan political organization. They work in a nonpartisan capacity, as election offices are run by governments. And since red and blue states received the aid, the idea that Zuckerberg helped steal the election from Trump is a lie.

"What were "2000 Mules" doing in the swing states shoving mysterious harvested ballots in drop boxes at 3:30am in the morning?"

That didn't happen. That is a lie peddled by Dinesh D'Souza and spread by conspiracy laden Trump sycophants.

https://www.nationalreview.com/2021/09/another-defeat-for-election-truthers/

And on top of that, Trump's allegations of election impropriety were thrown out of courts, many of them Trump appointed judges. And that was because there was no truth to their bogus claims. And furthermore, what the Trump campaign argued in court didn't come even close to matching the claims of fraud they said publicly. Why is that? It is because you cannot lie in a court of law, under penalty of perjury. And that is they couldn't make the claims in the court, with the judges saw right away for what it was and tossed their case. Lastly, when Sydney Powell was facing a lawsuit against her by Dominion, she conceded that her claims were false.

Also, it is funny that you talk about us nonTrump conservatives being obsessed with Trump and not wanting to move on, when you are the one still throwing a fit about the 2020 election! ;) In any case, Biden won fair and square, and Donald Trump self-inflicted defeat on himself against a weak candidate. The sooner you recognize this, the better it will be for you. But if you choose not to, and instead prefer to bathe yourself in lies, disprovable conspiracy theories, and other garbage peddled by Trumpists, then that is your choice.

As an Independent I have to say that the Republicans and Democrats dug their own graves over several decades of smooth talks and silver tongue promises about how they, if elected would do what they knew Americans wanted. When they were elected all they did was get wealthy. I, for one was tired of hearing the same old dialogue from both parties. That’s why I voted for Donald Trump twice. It was refreshing to hear straight talk…for a change, even if at times it was a little crude, it was heart felt.
