In 1948, the election results were known early Wednesday morning and while it wasn’t close, it seems counting ballots went a lot faster back then. Given there were fewer voters, it appears the states have become less efficient even with all the technology employed in today’s elections. This gives rise to suspicions of chicanery that we didn’t have in the good old days. Thoughts?
