Bernie! Thoughts and prayers to you and everyone in Western NC. Here in the Triangle region, we are watching the news reports and are devastated by lost of life and the destruction of communities we love. Having gone through hurricanes and flooding's, (Floyd, Fran, etc) we feel your pain. Please know that everyone in NC to the east is mobilizing to send the needed supplies your way. This is going to take more than a few weeks to recover and you and the Western NC will not be forgotten! Stay safe and look forward to treating you to that steak dinner when you are back in the Raleigh area!
glad to hear you're OK. I used to live out outside Louisville. They have some really nasty weather. Now I live in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. Winter lasts about 9 months of the year. No nasty weather just cold.
