It is considered politically incorrect/non woke to point out that blacks living in the USA but born in Africa and in the Caribbean are overall doing better financially/socially than blacks born and raised in this country.

At one point, around 2015, I read that Nigerian Americans had a median family income than white people. Not sure if that is still the case. But there are other cases of groups such as Jamaican Americans, Ghanian Americans, Ethiopian Americans, and Liberian Americans, who are faring better than native blacks. Better family structure may have a lot to do with it.

If you want to derail discussion of how we can move forward on what still needs to be addressed in race relations, revive the massive use of the term "white privilege" which fortunately is used much less than it was used just a few years ago.
