There's been a team-sports mentality in politics from the very beginning, but never in my lifetime have I seen so many people show such spite for constitutional guardrails and the separation of powers. The Left used to be much worse about this, but the Right has since pulled even (at least). Not a good trajectory at all.

John, yes I believe you. Problem with that is it leaves too much room for both sides to go ahead and throw the bombs in the room, step back and shout 'look what they just did!'; each side just as guilty as the other at this point. Ughhh.
