I don't think it's dismissive at all. There are literally millions of veterans in this country who are objectively better qualified to be Defense Secretary than Pete Hegseth. Hegseth being on Fox …

I don't think it's dismissive at all. There are literally millions of veterans in this country who are objectively better qualified to be Defense Secretary than Pete Hegseth. Hegseth being on Fox News, and having a certain look (this is according to Trump's own people), is why Hegseth was chosen.
As of now, 19 Fox News hosts, commentators, and other Fox personnel will have roles in the second Trump administration. There were several in his first term as well. Fox is a hunting ground for Trump filling government positions.
>>He didn't pursue Matt Gaetz for Attorney General, but picked Pam Bondi instead.
He DID pursue Matt Gaetz. He nominated him and very much wanted him to be his AG (despite knowing he was a totally unqualified sleaze). What happened is that enough Senate Republicans behind the scenes told Trump they couldn't vote for Gaetz after the House Ethics report (with probably some of them promising to rubber-stamp Trump's other nominees if Gaetz was pulled). Trump eventually caved, and looked for someone else.
>>And the blanket pardon of J6er's BECAUSE IT WAS A CAMPAIGN PROMISE BY PRESIDENT TRUMP will have to do.
You're justifying Trump pardoning 1,500+ January 6ers because he campaigned on doing so? He should have never campaigned on it, and he should have never done it.
>>But Donald Trump is no where near Adolph Hitler
I've never compared Trump to Hitler.
>>the sticker for me is; what has Donald Trump done that the Democrats and Joe Biden hasn't done.
Tried to overturn an election, and directly provoked an insurrection.
I'm totally on board with all kinds of criticism regarding the fecklessness of Democratic leaders during the 2020 summer riots, but what Trump did is different.
>>And we still don't know if the Afghanistan withdrawal and the open border during Biden's Administration were bought and paid for; along with the war in Ukraine (not the Burisma bribe.) When Tucker Carlson interviewed Putin, Putin said that three months into the war, Ukraine and Russia were at the bargaining table and Joe Biden nixed it by sending the then English Prime Minister Boris Johnson to the bargaining table to end any peaceful solution as Joe Biden didn't want the Russian secessionist in eastern Ukraine to be part of Russia again. Voila, billions of dollars to Ukraine from the US to support the war in Ukraine. Was that also bought and paid for?
None of this makes any sense, Mary, and I hope you would know better than to listen to Tucker Carlson and Vladmir Putin on anything. Both Trump and Biden wanted to pull us out of Afghanistan, and Putin wants to conquer Ukraine. He started this war, which he had planned for years. It was entirely of his making, and he was never looking for a "peaceful solution" other than the total victory of absorbing Ukraine back into Russia. He could end this all tomorrow by pulling out. 90% of U.S. funding for Ukraine never leaves the United States. It goes toward replenishing our own arsenal as old military equipment is shipped to Ukraine.
Biden and Johnson aren't the bad guys on Ukraine. Neither is Zelensky. Putin is.
Hi Mary.
