Uh, Thomas. That doesn't mean 5,000 people get to come in every day. It means that up to 5,000 are detained, screened, and deported. Once that number is reached, the border gets automatically shut down. Nobody being screened. Nobody getting in. Everyone is just detained and deported.
But since Lord Trump wants maximum border chaos for at least another year, the strongest bipartisan border bill in decades was rejected. Once you again, Trump over Country.
