McConell is a few years and brain cells past his prime. I was never a fan of term limits as I thought we would lose experience in the house and senate on important matters such as national security. But the more I think about it, it seems the only logical solution to drain the swamp. Perhaps some of them would be more inclined to do the right thing if they are not facing re-election.

To be clear, McConnell is supporting the legislation. In that quote, he was relaying the sentiments of other Republican Senators.
