No one in the United States is going to bed hungry as a result of a tiny portion of our federal budget being allocated to Ukraine defense funding (90% of which never leaves our own country). In Ukraine, we're talking about a country that's effectively the victim of a genocide at the hands of an international war criminal, and their survival is in the direct interest of the free world.
