I agree that VP Harris should make a simple, affirmative statement reaffirming that she does not disparage Trump voters.
It's unclear whether Pres. Biden's remark was referring to that supporter's - i.e. that comedian's - remark being garbage or whether he meant that the supporters were garbage. Since nuance is a hazard in the heat of a campaign, Harris should not specifically address Pres. Biden's remark.
