I don't watch cable news or even network news these days, but I did watch this one and came away with a different take.
In example:
"“But you haven’t been vocal about President Biden’s executive orders to cancel student loans, ban evictions, mandate COVID vaccines,”
I believe John this was a great question as I assume there were many Trump sympathizers watching. He asked and she answered. I felt he was hesitant on some of the questions too, but I'm glad he asked. She was good!
Hi Tim. Like you, I don't watch cable news anymore either. But if there's a cable-news segment of interest that I hear about online, I'll check it out.
I have no problem at all with Cheney being asked about her thoughts on Biden's executive overreach. Perfectly legitimate question. My problem was with Baier portraying equivalence between a president's executive actions to push policy, and a president literally trying to overthrow an election to stay in power (and causing an insurrection at the Capitol) because he couldn't cope with losing. There is nothing ironic or hypocritical about Cheney focusing on the latter as a far greater threat to democracy and our institutions, and Baier assuredly knew that.
I got her latest book as a Christmas present. Should be a good read!

By the way, Merry Christmas!
Same to you and your family. Merry Christmas!
Bahahahaha. “Literally overthrowing.” Hyperbolic emotional gibberish.
"Literally trying to overthrow." That's a fact, no matter how hard you hump Trump's leg.
