Dan Rather… not afraid to ask the TOUGH questions, but terrified of answering any! You also mentioned that one colleague who refused to read your piece was certain about one thing …that you are a bastardi. Amazing how that works, isn’t it? They seem to permeate almost every workplace in America now & what happened in this CBS situation is merely the result of their influence in the journalism field.
Bernie, what did you think of Bill Whittaker’s interview of Harris? Bill O’Reilly has been critical of his lack of follow-up questions but I thought over all he asked some tough ones…tough enough that CBS felt they had to make a significant edit!
