Bernie, how could you write your March 16th commentary and then write this tirade. This won’t help your subscribers staying with you. I’m done! John Daly and you seem to have a serious TDS issue. Bye Byi

Bernie didn't write this. I did.

Sorry to see you go, but we don't exist to cheer-lead for Donald Trump or any other politician or political party. We're here to offer our honest, fact-based views.

Take care.

Notice how, as usual, he fails to offer any sort of counter argument, other than the tired, "how dare you criticize Trump". It's also amusing that he references Bernie's column from this morning - as if it is not physically possible to criticize BOTH the Democrats AND Trump.

You and Bernie have made it crystal clear that you are not GOP water carriers, and simply call it as you see it. This is precisely WHY I subscribed to this site. I don't want/need propaganda, I want intelligent analysis and discussion of our current political landscape.

It's a regular routine here, unfortunately:

Whenever Bernie appears on Bill O'Reilly's show (where Bernie is typically talking critically about the liberal media or others on the left), we get a fair number of new subscribers (for which we're thankful).

But because most of them are big Trump supporters, they then get mad upon realizing that Bernie and I aren't afraid to tell truthful criticism about their guy.

You're right in that a lot of people simply can't understand how we can possibly criticize people on both sides, as if everything one team does is bad, and everything the other team does is good.

I'm glad you get it, John. I think most of our subscribers do. But moments like this illustrate why so many once thoughtful media-conservatives end up going full MAGA. It's what the vast majority of right-wing consumers want.
